Dentures
Dentures are removeable dental appliances that replace missing teeth. In contrast to dental implants and bridges, which are more or less permanently attached to the bone or neighboring teeth, dentures are prosthetic teeth attached to a supporting structure. Dentures can be removed at night, for cleaning, or whenever desired.
Replacing missing teeth improves speaking and eating, restores confidence in your appearance, enhances your smile and, in the case of a complete (full) denture, helps support the facial muscles, providing a more youthful appearance. Dentures are typically made from impressions (molds) taken of the inside of the mouth, and are made of a special type of plastic or porcelain that duplicates the shape, size and function of your natural teeth.
